Disassembly & assessment
Before repairing your hydraulic cylinder, we disassemble and inspect it, assessing all components; all tubes are fully tested for external leaks and bypasses.
Our nut buster table is used to safely dismantle and reassemble cylinders, rods and pistons, without risking damage to your cylinder. It is also used in final testing procedures.
What we repair
Hydraulic seal wear can result from factors such as cylinder cycling, age, oil contamination and temperature. While these are the common causes of seal failure in cylinders, other problems such as rod and gland damage need to be monitored.
Rod damage, including broken, bent or damaged rods, occurs regularly. In such cases, the rods can be replaced or repaired (rechroming and grinding).
As for the tubes, we check them and repair them if necessary.
Heads and pistons can also wear out, especially under difficult working conditions. We can modify or replace them to ensure proper clearance and optimal cylinder operation.
